4.1.2 : Training Performance in Selected Public Sector Training Institutions
During the 1st half of year 2020, 84,962 youth were recruited for Technical & Vocational Education and Training by
selected public sector training organizations. Majority (56%) of recruitments were males. Department of Technical
Education and Training recorded the highest number of recruitments. That was 23,850. As shown in table 4.1.2.1,
43,760 trainees completed their training during the 1st half of year 2020.
