As per table 3.1.1.4, majority of
unemployment of 42.2 percent was
among those with qualification of
GCE (A/L) & above group in the first
half of 2020. It was 28 percent and
54.1 percent for males and females
respectively. This reveals that the
problem of unemployment was more
acute among educated females than
males.
