2.2.2: Trends in foreign employment placements for different level of jobs
Graph 2.2.2.1 to graph 2.2.2.5 shows trends in foreign employment placements for major job categories. An
increasing trend can be seen in professionals. A decreasing trend has been continued in skilled jobs and unskilled,
jobs from 2015 to 2018. Foreign employment placement for middle level jobs increased notably in 2014 and then
decreased dramatically in 2015. After that, it can be seen fluctuation pattern. In the housemaid category, foreign
employment placements have decreased gradually from 2012 to 2017. However, it increased notably in 2018
compared to the previous year and the decreased slightly in 2019.
